Global Mission Sunday at Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Kansas City, MO. The theme: Securing Zion’s Future by Sharing Our Faith Effectively through Our Time, Talents, Treasures & Thoughts! Special Thank you to Sister Seali Amepashie-Mooney for enlightening and educating us on global mission work in Africa!

Everyone calls her Sally. She was born in the Country of Ghana in Western Africa. In the town of Keta. Keta is a beautiful town along the coast in the eastern part of Ghana. Seali has a home in the city of Accra, which is the capital of Ghana. Ghana is a beautiful country with wonderful food, music, and culture.

She is a lifelong member of the A.M.E. Zion Church, starting from the Buds of Promise to Yams, Parent Body, Life Member Council, and a Deaconess and putting The Lord God in Heaven First in All things, she has been blessed to have three grown children in Ghana. Two sons and a daughter. Her early life was spent working, studying, and raising my family.
While traveling to the United States to visit her sister, who lives in New Jersey, Sally met her future husband, James. In 2018, they married at St. Paul’s A.M.E. Zion Church in Fairway, Kansas. Together with James' five children, her three children, and many grandchildren, we have been blessed with a large family. Coming to live in the US has been a blessing and very exciting.
Seali says, “I very much look forward to building a good Christian life here in the United States and spending my life in Service to The Lord God in Heaven through Our Savior Jesus Christ, serving A.M.E. Zion Church and sharing my life with my husband, family, and friends’.
