Advertising Pricing and Publishing Guidelines
Advertising Pricing:
1. Full page Color, Non-Campaign advertisement is $375.00.
2. Full page B&W, Non-Campaign advertisement is $250.00.
3. Three quarter (3/4) page Color, Non-Campaign advertisement is $281.25.
4. Three quarter (3/4) page B&W, Non-Campaign advertisement is $181.25.
5. Half page Color, Non-Campaign advertisement is $187.50.
6. Half page B&W, Non-Campaign advertisement is $125.00.
7. Quarter page Color, Non-Campaign advertisement is $97.50.
8. Quarter page B&W, Non-Campaign advertisement is $85.00.
Star of Zion Campaign Package Pricing:
All packages include a free campaign announcement and photo printed in The Star of Zion. (Text will include official announcement, a short bio, and a brief statement of your candidacy platform.) Campaign packages are available to those interested persons and a complete listing will be advertised in every issue as “Star of Zion Productions Campaign Packages.”
1. Platinum Campaign Package - $850.00
One full-page color ads in The Star of Zion, followed by two 1/2-page ads, and three 1/4-page ads. Placement of your campaign website link on www.starofzion.org and Star Facebook page.
2. Gold Campaign Package - $750.00
One full-page color ads in The Star, followed by one 1/2-page ads, and three 1/4-page ads. Placement of your campaign website link on www.starofzion.org and Star Facebook page.
3. Silver Campaign Package - $650.00
One 1/2-page color ads, followed by three 1/4-page ads. Placement of your campaign website link on www.starofzion.org and Star Facebook page.

Campaign A La'Carte Ads (Campaign space without purchase of campaign package):
1. Full page color Campaign Ad is $550.00
2. Half page color Campaign Ad is $295.00

1. Full page color Campaign Ad is $250.00
2. Half page color Campaign Ad is $175.00

Special Placement Policy:
Due to high demand for placement of ads in specific pages of the Star of Zion, we have created a new policy to allow equality of publishing information.
1. Any individual (candidate or non-candidate), leadership entity of a church or organization can only request the back page 4 times in a year (issues of your choosing). Those requests will be on a first come, first served basis. Payment for special placement must be in the Star of Zion office when request is made to guarantee placement.
2. There will be a 15% upcharge for any special placement request in the paper, (campaign or non-campaign ads). The increase is 15% of the regular cost of any size ad. For example, a regular full page, non-campaign ad cost $375.00, so specific placement of any full page ad would be an additional 15% ($56.25). This applies to all ad sizes accordingly.
3. If you have purchased a campaign packet, and would like to request specific placement, the same cost would apply 15% of the cost of the regular size ad space you are requesting.
Advertising Rates For Multiple/Repeat Placement:
Depending on the size and frequency of running an ad or series of ads, a discounted rate may be negotiated with the Editor. This does not apply to Campaign Ad Packages. Please feel free to contact the editor directly if you need any further explanation on the information provided below. Once you select the package you would like to reserve we will send you a PayPal invoice for you to remit payment. Email the Star of Zion editor @ editor@starofzion.org to discuss terms.
Publishing Guidelines: (Please note there is no longer any cost for article and obituary publishing for approved content)
Deadline for submissions is the 15th of every month for publishing the following month.
1. All articles and photos must be sent via EMAIL ONLY at news@starofzion.org
2. Articles must be sent in Microsoft Word Format, 12pt, Times New Roman font.
3. All photos must be sent in .JPG format and labeled with description accordingly.
4. DO NOT embed photos in articles. Article and photos must be separate attachments. When sending photos, DO NOT embed/place them into Word files and send the Word document but instead attach original photos in .JPG format to the email.
5. Articles over 5 pages (unless pre-approved by the Editor) may be returned for re-write.
6. Please have mortuary email photo and obituary of the deceased when submitted obituaries.
