Bishop Herbert Crump Announced as New Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Clinton College

Today, Clinton College announced Reverend Herbert Crump as its new Vice President of Institutional Advancement. With over 20 years of non-profit leadership and development, Crump joins Clinton from Mount Calvary Holy Church of America, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Presiding Prelate. He brings a vast array of experiences from Institutional Advancement areas, including donor prospecting and engagement, major gift fundraising, federal fund management, public and media relations, and more. Crump also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Freedom Temple Ministries in Rock Hill, SC. He has been an effective community leader and activist in Rock Hill for over two decades, including serving as a member of the Clinton College Board of Trustees, a life member of the NAACP, and a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

"We are excited to welcome home alumnus Rev. Crump as our new Vice President of Institutional Advancement. His experience, energy, and passion for Clinton will be a major contribution to the growth and advancement of the college," said Dr. Lester McCorn, President of Clinton College.

No stranger to Clinton College, Rev. Crump obtained his Associate Degree in Religious Studies from Clinton, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and History at Livingstone College, and earned his Master of Arts in Political and Civic Engagement from Winthrop University. He is currently attending Columbia International University, studying for his Ph.D. in Student Organizational Leadership
