Building On A Sure Foundation: The Cecil Bishop Day Care Center - Linden, Guyana

The Cecil Bishop Day Care Center has been operating out of the Cecil Bishop AME Zion Church in Linden, Guyana since being established over 20 years ago. Over the years the enrollment has increased from 12 children to now serving 62 children. The services lovingly supplied by the Center allows the parents of the children to be engaged in employment which would not be possible without the critical child care that is provided. The Day Care Center is a vital part of the community and the expanded new stand-alone building will also serve as an Outreach and wholistic Family Resource Center.
