The Board of Bishops and the constituents of The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church are saddened to learn of the passing of Bishop Godwin T. Umoette, the 60th Consecrated Episcopate in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Our prayers, thoughts, and condolences go forth on behalf of his wife, Elizabeth, his children and family, the Tenth Episcopal District, the College of Bishops, and the greater C.M.E. Church Family.
