Summer is quickly coming to an end, and it is time for back-to-school shopping for those in the United States. Paying no tax on clothing, shoes, and school supplies can save you money as a parent/guardian. According to the National Retail Federation, families with children in elementary through high school plan to spend an average of $874.68 on clothing, shoes, school supplies, and electronics.
To help ease the burden of parents/guardians, multiple states in the U.S. are offering tax-free weekends or days on selected back-to-school items.
