Philadelphia, PA February 3, 2023 - The Family Reunion Institute (FRI) is offering its fifth online workshop for family reunion planners on Saturday, February 25th from noon to 2:00pm. For the first time, FRI experts will break down cost factors and options for one-, two-, and 3-4 day reunions, as well as weeklong, destination and cruise reunions. Factors and options include menu, food cost, location/venue, lodging, itinerary/entertainment, time of year and cost per attendee for each kind of reunion. Budget savings tips and caveats, such as avoid hurricane season if booking a cruise, are also included. Participants in this free online session will get clear, understandable information and pointers about their reunion alternatives. The FRI panel collectively represent over 150 years of experience on how to plan, promote and fund successful reunions. They have been there, done that, “have the t-shirt,”and openly share their expertise and experiences.
Dr. Ione Vargus, Dean Emerita of Temple University’s School of Social Work, founder of FRI and the “Mother of Family Reunions” maintains, “It’s not only important that people participate in the workshop, but that they leave with tangible help and ideas for their next reunion.”
Reunion planners are invited to register at www.familyreunioninstitute.net until February 24th, but are encouraged to register early to assure they can access pre- and post-workshop materials.
