Philadelphia, PA March 03, 2025. On Saturday, March 29th from noon to 2:00PM EDT, the National Family Reunion Institute (NFRI) will host its 10th virtual workshop for Family Reunion Planners. Topics with practical tips and strategies include featured presentations on Getting to Know your Family…Past and Present; Compelling Communications and Promotions; and our Nuts and Bolts segments on Technology Tools for Reunions; Easy Fundraisers; and Getting Registration Fees Paid on Time. All topics were chosen based on feedback from reunion planners participating in previous workshops.
According to Dr. Ione Vargus, Dean Emerita of Temple University’s School of Social Work, founder of NFRI and the “Mother of Family Reunions,” establishing reunion planning fundamentals is essential. However, they must be revisited from time to time to update communications and consider current family circumstances. “Caring for the family structure is to be valued. Family Reunion Planners develop that value by working effectively to keep reunions growing strong. NFRI provides opportunities to come together to learn, exchange ideas and contribute to successful reunion planning. It’s important that planners participating in the workshop leave with tangible help and ideas. This workshop continues those efforts.”
The workshop is free for participants thanks to our sponsor Fairfax County, Virginia, Connect with America, and includes participant polling, Q&A and door prizes. Family Reunion Planners nationwide are invited to attend. To register (click here).
