On Friday, February 28, 2025, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, we take action with a 24-hour Economic Blackout—the first of many steps to push back against attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
DO NOT SPEND. No Amazon. No Walmart. No major retailers. No fast food. No gas. No unnecessary purchases.
IF YOU MUST SPEND, support small, local Black-owned businesses only.
WHY THIS MATTERS: Corporations and banks care about their bottom line. If we disrupt the economy, even for one day, we send a message they cannot ignore. If they don’t listen, the next blackout will be even longer.
