The National Acolyte Festival

Posted

The National Acolyte Festival will occur on Saturday, October 8, 2023, at 8 AM EST at the Washington National Cathedral.  However, the Bishop Stephen Gill Spottswood Acolytes of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church will meet in Washington, DC, for a three-day conference.  The festival is a time-honored tradition for many congregations that boasts over 1000 acolytes from different faith communions.  In 2019, the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church had 95 acolytes represented throughout the denomination.  Dr. R.J. Chandler Sr, Director of the Acolytes and the Task Force, are eager for your return this fall as we also welcome those making their first pilgrimage to the Cathedral.

Join me in supporting the Bishop Stephen Gill Spottswood Acolytes of the Christian Education Department Of AME Zion Church. It's really easy through @Givelify https://giv.li/1pb0kx. Let's do #MoreGoodTogether.
