Atlanta Zionite Wins Two Gospel Music Awards

SMYRNA, GA – Beverly Heath, a member of Shaw Temple AME Zion Church, is an award-winning independent gospel recording artist. Her newest CD “Jesus Boulevard” is receiving attention andaccolades within the independent gospel music industry. Released on BaCE Records, thecurrent single and title track “Jesus Boulevard” is a multi-nominated and multi-award winninggospel project. Based on personal and life experiences “Jesus Boulevard” is compilation of10 original songs completely anchored in the word of God, and also contains an updated arrangement of the beautiful hymn “Pass Me Not”. This project is an anthology of songs of proclamation, praise and worship, as well as messages of healing and hope, and carry a rich-sound of exhortation and joy.

Co-written and produced by her husband William Heath, “Jesus Boulevard” is a melodious and

lyrical response to Beverly’s faith even in the midst of life’s troubles, trials, and pain. With the

inspired contributions of musicians like Israel Martin, Keyth Lee, Melanie McKie and Michael Harbison, “Jesus Boulevard” brings its musical message with biblical and personal lyrics, grooving bass lines, dramatic musical arrangements and beautifully arranged background vocals that lift the spirit and soothe the soul. It is truly a sonic masterpiece and their combined efforts have been rewarded with the project winning a Gospel Choice Music Award for Producer of the Year and a Rhythm of Gospel Award for Alternative Christian Gospel CD of the Year.
