Clinton College has officially been reaffirmed for the next ten years by our accrediting agency, the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), with no recommendations, findings, or suggestions. Clinton’s evaluation visit took place from January 24th-January 26th, 2023, and concluded with a notification of reaffirmation during a virtual meeting yesterday, April 25th.

“Being reaffirmed for another ten years with no recommendations, findings, or suggestions shows that Clinton College continues to operate at the highest level of excellence,” said Dr. Lester A. McCorn, President of Clinton College. “We are committed to continuing to strive for excellence as we fulfill our mission to prepare our students to be transformative leaders in a global society.”

TRACS is recognized by both the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as a national institutional accrediting agency for Christian post-secondary institutions, colleges, universities, and seminaries. Accreditation by TRACS signifies that the College complies with the requirement to meet national norms in the areas of curriculum; programs; faculty credentials; and measured student learning outcomes at the course, program, and institutional level.

“Accreditation requires leadership, collaboration, and supportive efforts from key personnel of an institution,” said Dr. Harriet T. Hobbs, Vice President of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness, Accreditation, and Research/Accreditation Liaison. “To lead an accreditation process and receive no recommendations, findings, or suggestions in the history of the College is commendable. I am appreciative to those that contributed to the process.”
